Children’s books did more than tell a story?

What if…

A woman with long brown hair, smiling, wearing a black V-neck top and black pants, standing against a plain light gray background.

they gave kids & their caregivers the language, rhythms & confidence to navigate everyday life?

What if…

i want parents to win

(& caregivers)

because when they win, they positively influence the development & faith of their children.

  • We actually use ["I Go to Church"] for routine. It helps [my child] know what's coming next and get ready for transitions ahead of time. He loves it because the illustrations look just like our church, so it feels really familiar to him. It's also become our go-to on Sundays when we can't make it to service. We will read through it together so he still gets that sense of routine and connection to church even when we're home.

  • Helped my kids oversome their reluctance going to church. They now relate to the family and stories in the book and are excited to go.

    —John, dad

  • Great book!

Meet katherine

My books grew out of years spent in children’s ministry, child health education, and my own journey as a parent. I observed that children thrive when caregivers have simple, consistent language for everyday moments.

I also create the Little Moo Stories series, inspired by the real animals at Bliss Ranch, the ranch I run. Through these heart-centered animal adventures, children explore social-emotional skills like empathy, resilience, friendship, and understanding their feelings.

Whether through faith-filled conversations or stories that help children navigate emotions and relationships, my goal is the same: to give families words, rhythms, and tools they can carry beyond the last page.

“As surely as the sun rises, the Lord will appear.” Hosea 6:3

My life has been evidence of the promise in Hosea 6:3 fulfilled.

This reminder of God’s faithfulness has carried me through seasons of parenting, ministry, and writing. It reflects the heart behind my books: trusting that God is always at work, and helping families create daily rhythms where children can know His love.
